Florina ist eine Apfelsorte, die hauptsächlich in Europa angebaut wird. Es handelt sich hierbei um einen robusten und ertragreichen Busch,

der eine gute Widerstandsfähigkeit gegen Krankheiten und Schädlinge aufweist. Die Blütezeit erfolgt in den frühen Frühlingsmonaten,

und die Erntezeit ist von September bis Oktober.

Die Früchte selbst haben eine rötliche Schale, die oft mit grünen oder gelben Flecken übersät ist. Das Fruchtfleisch ist saftig, süß-säuerlich

im Geschmack und hat eine angenehme Textur.

Florina-Äpfel eignen sich gut für den frischen Verzehr, aber auch für die Verarbeitung in Kuchen, Desserts oder Säften.

 

In Bezug auf ihre Herkunft ist die Florina-Sorte relativ neu, da sie erst in den 1970er Jahren in Bulgarien gezüchtet wurde.

darunter Deutschland, Frankreich, Spanien und Italien.
